Several joint methods of PVC conveyor belt

There are mainly the following types of joints for PVC conveyor belts:

Tooth joint: a common joint for PVC conveyor belts, and also the strongest. PVC conveyor belts are first layered and then toothed. Since the teeth are the same shape as the teeth after being toothed, they are called toothed joints. Features: simple and convenient, fast hot melting speed. The joint part after bonding is evenly stressed, so the conveyor belt is easier to clean.

Layered tooth joint: Layered tooth joint is a common way for conveyor belts to connect to ring conveyor belts, which can enhance the strength of conveyor belt joints and effectively avoid situations such as warping of conveyor belt joints.

Overlap joint: overlap can be selected when the machine is not convenient to disassemble. The overlap joint is layered by the layering machine and then specially polished.

Steel buckle joint: a joint method that can be repeatedly disassembled. Steel buckle joints have advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that it can effectively avoid the inconvenience of installing the conveyor belt after it becomes a ring belt. The disadvantage is that it is not easy to clean and is easy to breed bacteria. Long-term use can easily cause the conveyor belt joint to slowly tear, and the service life is short.

Plastic buckle joint: Plastic buckle joint mainly meets some special application environments, such as: replacement belts for metal detection conveyor belts.
In addition, there are mechanical joints, cold bonding joints, hot vulcanization joints, etc. In actual applications, the choice of which joint method needs to be determined according to actual needs and conditions.
