Differences between Straight and Curved or Folded Baffles

Shape and Structure:
Straight baffles: As the name suggests, these baffles are straight and are usually installed along the edge of the belt or at a specific location to form a vertical or slightly inclined barrier.
Curved or folded baffles: These baffles may have a curved shape or folded design to adapt to the conveying needs of the belt on turns, inclines or special paths. They can guide materials more effectively and prevent spillage.
Application Scenarios:
Straight baffles: Commonly used in straight conveying paths or when the belt has a large turning radius. They are suitable for most standard conveying tasks, especially when the material is not easy to spill or needs simple guidance.
Curved or folded baffles: Especially suitable for occasions where the belt needs to make frequent turns, up and down slopes or pass through complex paths. These baffles can better adapt to the dynamic movement of the belt and ensure that the material remains on the belt during the conveying process.
Material Control:
Straight baffles: Provide basic material control functions to prevent material from falling off the edge of the belt.
Curved or Folding Baffles: Provide a higher level of material control and reduce material loss through a tighter fit and guidance in curves or sloped areas.
