The role of different types of baffles and skirt conveyor systems

Different types of baffles and skirt designs have their own unique roles in belt conveyor systems:

PVC and PU baffles: These two materials are usually light and easy to install, with good chemical resistance and wear resistance. They are suitable for a variety of environments, including food processing, pharmaceutical production and some chemical industries. PVC and PU baffles can effectively prevent materials from scattering during transportation and increase the adhesion of materials on the belt.

T-type baffles: T-type baffles can be selected and adjusted according to actual needs. Straight baffles are mainly used to prevent materials from deviating from the conveyor belt, inclined baffles can be used to guide or adjust the direction of materials, and special-shaped baffles are suitable for materials of special shapes or materials that require special treatment.

S-type baffles (skirt baffles): This baffle design is mainly used to prevent materials from sliding during transportation, and can also increase the adhesion of materials. Skirt baffles are usually taller than straight baffles, which can better adapt to materials of different shapes and sizes.
Guide bars: Very short guide bars are mainly used to increase the stability of materials on the belt and reduce rolling or sliding of materials. The design of the guide bar can prevent the material from deviating from the direction during the conveying process and improve the conveying efficiency.
The various baffles and skirt designs on the front of the belt can effectively improve the conveying efficiency and ensure the stability and safety of material transportation. According to the specific application scenarios and material characteristics, choosing the appropriate baffle and skirt design can better meet the production needs and improve production efficiency.

Different types of baffles such as straight baffles, inclined baffles and special-shaped baffles are suitable for the following scenarios:

Straight baffles are suitable for scenarios where materials need to be prevented from deviating from the conveyor belt. During the conveying process, straight baffles can effectively prevent materials from scattering to both sides or deviating from the predetermined path, ensuring that the materials can be stably transported to the destination. Straight baffles are usually used for horizontal or vertical conveyor belts, especially for short-distance conveying and scenes that require fast conveying.
Oblique baffles are suitable for scenes where the direction of the material needs to be adjusted or guided. During the conveying process, the oblique baffle can guide the material to be conveyed at a predetermined angle to achieve the diversion or confluence of the material. Oblique baffles are usually used for inclined conveyor belts, which can convey materials to different locations or turn them at a certain angle. This design is particularly suitable for scenes where materials need to be diverted or merged in a directional manner.
Special-shaped baffles are suitable for scenes where materials of special shapes or sizes need to be handled. Due to their unique shape, special-shaped baffles can adapt to materials of different sizes and shapes to prevent materials from rolling or sliding during transportation. Special-shaped baffles are usually used for materials of specific shapes, such as round, flat, etc., to improve the stability and transportation efficiency of materials. This design is especially suitable for scenes where materials of specific shapes need to be handled in industries such as food processing, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
In summary, different types of baffles have their own unique functions and applicable scenarios. When choosing a baffle, it is necessary to evaluate and select according to actual needs to ensure the best transportation effect and production efficiency.
